Job Title: Accountant
Location: Agra, Uttar Pradesh
Reporting To: Managing Director
Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (in hand)
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the complete accounting functions of our organization. The incumbent will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial records, including sales and purchase ledgers, sales returns, bank reconciliations, and daily book entries using Tally Prime. The position requires accuracy, integrity, and a proactive approach to ensure smooth and transparent financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update sales, purchase, and sales return ledgers in Tally Prime.
• Record daily bank transactions, cash entries, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and update the day book and ensure timely posting of all entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage vendor and customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial summaries and reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with basic GST, TDS, and statutory accounting requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required information and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or trading.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Knowledge: Good understanding of accounting standards, GST, and TDS workings.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
