Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team at our multispeciality hospital in Panvel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment, and will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day financial transactions and accounting records
• Handle billing, receivables, and payables
• Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
• Coordinate with internal departments to verify and record expenses
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with hospital finance policies
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns
• Maintain accurate records for all transactions and support documents
• Work closely with management on budgeting and financial planning
• Manage vendor payments and staff reimbursements
• Coordinate with insurance companies for claim settlements and TPA accounts

Requirements:

• Graduation is mandatory
• B.Com/M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance
• 1–4 years of experience in accounting (Hospital experience preferred)
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software
• Good understanding of taxation and statutory compliance
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
