Job Description

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Amritsar
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
Prepare tax computations and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Support management with financial data and insights for decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role (minimum [X] years).
Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho Books).
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
Experience in [industry name, e.g., manufacturing, services, IT] will be an advantage.

Salary: As per industry standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
