**Job Profile: Accountant**

We are a leading hand tool manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products to our clients. Our dedication to excellence extends to our internal operations, and we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to enhance our Accounts Department.

**Job Summary:**

The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Maintain Books of Accounts:**

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

- Manage the general ledger and ensure all accounts are reconciled.

2. **Invoice Handling:**

- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices.

- Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.

3. **Financial Reporting:**

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

4. **Tax Management:**

- Manage GST and TDS compliance and filings.

- Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and ensure adherence.

6. **Audit Support:**

- Assist in internal and external audits.

- Prepare necessary documentation and reports for audit purposes.

7. **System Management:**

- Utilize Tally/ERP systems for efficient financial management.

- Maintain and update financial data in MS Excel.

8. **Collaboration and Teamwork:**

- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

- Provide support and assistance to team members as needed.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:**

- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree or equivalent qualification in accounting/finance.

- **Experience:**

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing accounting operations.

- **Technical Skills:**

- Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- **Key Competencies:**

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

- Knowledge of advanced accounting software.
