Accountant

As an Accountant at the beverage manufacturing unit in Manor, Palghar, Maharashtra, your role will involve managing all financial aspects of the manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations specific to the manufacturing industry. Your contribution to strategic financial decision-making will be crucial for the success of the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Cost Accounting: - Analyze and track production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead. - Prepare cost reports and conduct variance analysis for identifying areas of cost reduction and efficiency improvement. - Financial Reporting: - Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Budgeting and Forecasting: - Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasts. - Monitor performance against budgets. - Taxation and Compliance: - Manage tax-related matters like GST, TDS, and other relevant taxes. - Ensure compliance with local and national financial regulations. - Inventory Management: - Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to maintain accurate inventory records. - Reconcile inventory accounts. - Auditing: - Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits. - Ad-hoc Analysis: - Provide financial analysis and reports to support business planning and decision-making. Qualifications and Skills: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field. Professional certification like CMA or CA (Inter) is a plus. - Experience: Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in manufacturing or food and beverage industry. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP 9, SAP, QuickBooks. - Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. - Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - Core Competencies: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. - Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various departments. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.,
