Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at our PCMC. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role will also include preparing budgets, monitoring financial transactions, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
• Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Understanding of tax compliance and regulations, as well as experience in preparing financial statements
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CA, CPA, or CMA are advantageous
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting
• Prior experience in educational institutions or similar organizations is a plus
