Job Description: Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Global Migration and Education Solutions. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Handle GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to support business operations. Collaborate with management to prepare financial analyses and assist in strategic planning. Ensure timely invoicing, expense tracking, and payment processing. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree/CA Inter preferred). Proven experience as an Accountant (experience in service industry preferred). Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Work Location: Amritsar, Punjab Job Type: Full-time
