Core Roles of an Accountant

• Financial Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).

• Compliance & Reporting

Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (tax laws, GST, TDS, etc.) and prepare reports for audits.

• Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist management in planning budgets and forecasting cash flow.

• Payroll Management

Process salaries, deductions, and statutory contributions (PF, ESI, professional tax).

• Vendor & Client Accounts

Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconcile balances, and follow up on outstanding invoices.

• Audit Support

Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.

• Financial Analysis

Provide insights on cost control, profitability, and efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
• File tax returns and ensure timely compliance with government regulations.
• Track expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data.
• Support management with MIS (Management Information System) reports.
• Handle petty cash and expense reimbursements.
• Assist in drafting proposals with accurate costing and financial projections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
