Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at Ekya ITPL Campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining financial records for all school campuses, managing the balance sheet, recording financial transactions, and generating reports for management review. You will be utilizing Tally software for recording financial data, processing invoices and vouchers, and performing bank reconciliations. Furthermore, you will oversee fee collection processes, track expenses across campuses to ensure budget adherence, and collaborate with department heads and campus managers to gather financial information and provide necessary support. Effective communication with internal stakeholders and reporting financial status to the finance team and management will also be a key part of your role. In addition, you will assist with audits by preparing financial documents and reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, prior experience as an Accounts Executive in the education sector, proficiency in Tally software and MS Office suite, strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
