Job Description: Accountant

Position Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting the organization’s financial health through effective reporting, compliance, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts
Prepare and examine financial statements and reports
Handle accounts payable and receivable; manage invoices and payments
Reconcile bank statements, cash flow, and other financial records
Assist in budgeting and financial planning
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Prepare tax returns and support tax-related documentation
Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of records
Collaborate with other departments for financial inquiries
Advise management on cost reduction, profitability, and financial decisions

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant statutory requirements (India)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
