About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our construction firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Experience in the construction industry and project-based accounting will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities :
*Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
*Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and project cost reports.
*Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
*Manage vendor payments, subcontractor bills, and client invoicing.
*Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow records.
*Provide management with monthly/quarterly financial reports and forecasts.
Qualifications & Skills :
*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
*Proven experience (2–5 years) as an Accountant, preferably in the construction or real estate industry is mandatory.
*Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
*Excellent communication and coordination skills.
