Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a preference will be given to those with prior experience in audit firms. This role involves managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial reports, assisting in audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
• Maintain documentation and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting procedures
• Stay updated on accounting standards and industry best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in an audit firm
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with clients across various industries
• Knowledge of local tax laws and statutory compliances
• Professional certifications (CA Inter, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) are a plus
