Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing reports, maintaining MIS, handling stock movements (inward & outward), managing purchase and sales records, and ensuring GST compliance. Experience with online channel reconciliations (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, etc.) and familiarity with e-way bills is essential. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and MIS. Track and manage Stock In and Stock Out across warehouses and sales channels. Maintain accurate purchase and sales records and ensure timely data entry. Perform GST computation and filing; ensure compliance with applicable tax laws. Reconcile transactions and settlements with online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, etc. Generate and manage e-way bills for movement of goods. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor accounts receivable and payable. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors regarding stock movement and invoicing. Assist with audits and liaise with auditors as required. Continuously improve accounting processes and contribute to financial process optimization. Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience (2-4 years preferred) as an Accountant or in a similar role. Strong working knowledge of GST laws and online marketplace operations. Experience in reconciling transactions for platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, etc. Proficiency with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or equivalent) and MS Excel. Familiarity with e-way bill portal and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Skills:Experience with inventory management tools and ERP systems. Prior experience in FMCG, e-commerce, or consumer products industry is a plus. Understanding of logistics and stock flow for online and offline channels.
