Job Description: Account Officer – Polymer & Pharma Industry Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our team in the Polymer and Pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have foundational accounting knowledge and expertise in managing financial operations, quotations, payables and receivables, order processing, dealer sales, and purchase control. Strong English communication skills and proficiency in Tally or equivalent accounting software are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Accounting and Financial Management Maintain and update daily financial transactions using Tally or equivalent accounting software. Prepare invoices, quotations, and financial reports as required. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies regularly. Order Processing and Approvals Handle end-to-end order processing, including receiving orders, verifying details, and securing necessary approvals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment. Sales and Dealer Coordination Monitor dealer sales and track performance metrics. Maintain strong relationships with dealers and address any queries or concerns promptly. Purchase Department Oversight Coordinate with the purchase department to ensure cost-effective procurement practices. Verify purchase orders and monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages. Implement controls to avoid unnecessary expenditures. Communication and Documentation Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients in English, both verbally and in writing. Prepare and present periodic financial summaries and reports to management. Maintain accurate documentation for all financial and operational processes. Qualifications and Skills: Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, or related field. Experience : 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably in the Polymer or Pharmaceutical industry. Software Proficiency : Strong knowledge of Tally and MS Office (Excel, Word). Technical Skills : Basic understanding of accounting principles, GST, and other regulatory compliance. Communication Skills : Excellent English communication (verbal and written). Personal Attributes : Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Attributes: Familiarity with industry-specific practices in Polymer and Pharma sectors. Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications. Location: Satellite (Ahmedabad) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
