Overview
We are looking for Quality Assurance (QA) engineers to support our engineering team in
ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our product experiences. The
ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working in a fast[1]paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
These resources will partner closely with software engineers, PMs, and UX designers to
validate end-to-end scenarios, regression coverage, and release readiness.
Responsibilities
Feature & Release Validation
- Create and execute test plans covering new feature development, regressions, and
flighting rollouts.
- Validate Skills experiences (LPE/LPC flows, Copilot integrations, Admin settings,
telemetry/metrics dashboards and etc).
- Support flighting strategies (dogfood MSIT worldwide release) and provide QA
sign-off.
Defect Management
- Log, track, and prioritize defects in Azure DevOps with clear reproduction steps.
- Partner with engineers and product managers to triage issues, verify fixes, and
maintain release readiness.
Automation & Tools
- Contribute to extending automated regression coverage for critical user scenarios.
- Support test execution in CI/CD pipelines.
- Use modern frameworks (Playwright, Canary, etc.) for UI/API validation.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work directly with PMs, engineers, and design on release checklists.
- Participate in bug bashes, end-to-end testing weeks, and cross-org test efforts.
- Document and communicate test coverage, risks, and quality metrics.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of QA experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS or M365 ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies (manual & automation).
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and integration scenarios.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (test plans, work items) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Playwright, Canary).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and localization testing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced release environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with Microsoft 365 or Viva products.
- Familiarity with telemetry validation (Kusto queries, dashboards).
- Understanding of licensing, compliance, and enterprise-scale rollouts.
