We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Account Manager to join our team at TASKING. This role is based in Pune or Delhi.

What will you do?

As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships while driving business growth. You will be responsible for managing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. By collaborating closely with internal teams and understanding client needs, you will deliver tailored solutions that align with business objectives. Your work will directly contribute to achieving revenue targets and fostering long-term partnerships that support both customer success and company goals.


Your main responsibilities are:

  • Planning and prioritizing my sales activities and customer or prospect interactions to meet sales targets for assigned customers.
  • Driving the promotion and sales of TASKING products specifically within the Automotive, Railways, Aerospace, and Defense industries.
  • Managing the complete sales cycle, which includes qualifying and developing lead opportunities, preparing tailored offers for individual customers, and following up until the business is successfully closed.
  • Organizing and executing specialized projects such as call-out campaigns and data updates.
  • Coordinating and supporting business development efforts like marketing campaigns, roadshows, and exhibitions.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all sales-related activities within TASKING’s CRM database (Salesforce).
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop strategic sales plans aimed at acquiring new customers, while also maintaining and expanding existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Working in alignment with Application Engineers and all TASKING team members in-country to maximise sales performance and unlock growth potential.


Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree desirable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Commercial understanding required.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Sales or Customer Service, preferably in an Automotive, Microcontroller, or Semiconductor environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively through various channels, including email and telephone.
  • Basic sales skills, including negotiation and persuasion, preferred.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and business-building skill set.
