Account Executive

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, working knowledge of ERP systems, and experience with GST compliance and returns. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate tax filings. Key Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts. Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash handling. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Reconcile input tax credit (ITC) and handle GST-related queries or notices. Generate reports from the ERP system and ensure data accuracy. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field. 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle, Zoho Books, etc.). Strong understanding of GST regulations and return filing procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools. Good organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Show more Show less
