Account Executive

JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTANT MANAGER(FEMALE ONLY)

JOB SUMMARY: The accountant will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring their financial transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with regulatory requirements. This role requires proficiency in Tally ERP software and expertise in handling GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3), petty cash management, cash vouchers, general entries, and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Account Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing their accounting needs and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain a strong relationship with clients, understanding their business operations, and providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Tally ERP Expertise:
• Utilize Tally ERP software to manage financial transactions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and inventory management.
• Ensure all entries are accurately recorded in Tally ERP and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• GST Compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3):
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 for outward supplies, GSTR-2 for inward supplies, GSTR-3 for monthly returns) in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor GST compliance requirements, including input tax credit reconciliation and timely submission of returns.
• Petty Cash and Cash Vouchers:
• Manage petty cash transactions, including disbursements, reimbursements, and maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare and verify cash vouchers, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
• General Entries and Bank Reconciliation:
• Record general journal entries for various financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Tally ERP Expertise: Proficiency in using Tally ERP software for accounting and financial management.
• GST Knowledge: Understanding of GST laws and regulations, with experience in preparing and filing GSTR-1, GSTR-2, and GSTR-3 returns.
• Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for clients.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and compliance filings.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement process improvements in accounting procedures.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additional certifications in Tally ERP or GST may be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

• The Account Manager typically works in an office environment, collaborating with clients and internal teams.
• May require occasional travel to client sites or meetings.
