Account Executive (Accounting)

Responsibilities: Financial Management: Handle day-to-day accounting activities. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Work collaboratively with the finance team to prepare financial statements. Finalization of Accounts: Ability to work up to finalization of accounts. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and principles. Internal Audit: Conduct internal audits to assess financial procedures and identify potential areas of improvement. Implement effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external tax consultants. Prepare and file tax returns in a timely manner. Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records. Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and regulatory compliance. Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software to streamline financial processes. Stay updated on the latest accounting software and tools. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations. Provide support and guidance to junior members of the finance team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Intermediate Chartered Accountant (Inter CA) or equivalent certification. 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office tools. Skills: Attention to detail and accuracy.
