The ideal candidate is a leader who can successfully develop and manage a diverse team. You will solve client problems while providing exceptional service and help develop new business opportunities.
1. Account Delivery Leadership:
• Own overall delivery for one or more large strategic accounts in the Data
Engineering/Analytics domain.
• Ensure successful execution of programs/projects by meeting timelines, quality
standards, and client expectations.
• Drive governance with internal and client stakeholders and ensure transparency and
issue resolution.
2. P&L and Margin Management:
• Own account-level P&L; ensure topline growth and margin expansion.
• Identify levers for cost optimization, pyramid balancing, and location strategy.
• Track and manage budgets, forecasts, utilization, and delivery metrics.
3. Stakeholder and Client Engagement:
• Build and nurture strong relationships with client stakeholders (business, IT,
procurement, and CXOs).
• Act as a trusted advisor and engage in strategic discussions to identify opportunities
and drive value for the client.
• Partner with sales and presales teams to support mining, renewals, and new
business opportunities.
4. People and Practice Leadership:
• Lead and mentor delivery managers, architects, and data engineers across
geographies.
• Foster a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with the CoE and practice teams for talent development and
technology innovation.
5. Technical Excellence:
• Bring deep understanding of modern data architecture (cloud data platforms, data
lakes, streaming, ELT/ETL, etc.).
• Guide and review solution design and architecture for complex data programs.
• Stay current with trends in GenAI, cloud-native platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and
modern data stacks.
• 16+ years of total experience with at least 5+ years in account delivery leadership
roles.
• Strong experience in delivering data engineering, data platform modernization, and
analytics programs.
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP), Big Data, ELT/ETL
tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
• Proven track record of managing large teams (onsite/offshore), with responsibility
for P&L.
• Excellent client-facing skills, including stakeholder management and executive
presence.
• Strong problem-solving, program management, and organizational skills.
• Engineering or technical graduate; MBA is a plus.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, AWS Big Data Specialty, GCP Data
Engineer)
• PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certifications
