About the Role:

Accessibility Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accessibility testing of web and mobile applications as per

  WCAG 2.1 / 2.2

  ,

  Section 508

  , and

  ADA

  standards.
• Use accessibility tools such as

  AXE, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack

  , and

  Accessibility Insights

  to identify and analyze issues.
• Prepare accessibility test cases, document defects, and collaborate with developers and UX teams for remediation.
• Conduct detailed accessibility audits and prepare compliance reports.
• Advocate for accessibility best practices across teams and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

• 2–6 years of experience in software testing, including at least

  1 year in Accessibility Testing

  .
• Strong understanding of

  WCAG 2.1 / 2.2

  ,

  ARIA roles

  , and

  semantic HTML/CSS

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  assistive technologies

  (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
• Familiarity with

  automated accessibility tools

  such as

  Deque AXE

  ,

  Pa11y

  , and

  Accessibility Insights

  .
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• IAAP Certification (CPACC / CPWA / WAS)

  – Preferred and highly valued.
• Prior experience in accessibility testing within the

  Banking and Financial Services (BFSI)

  domain.
• Experience in

  automated accessibility testing frameworks

  and browser developer tools.
