Job Summary:

1. Responsible for manual and automated accessibility testing of web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, and Section 508 standards.
2. Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to identify, report, and verify accessibility issues and remediation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct accessibility audits using tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) and manual techniques.
2. Create clear, actionable defect reports with remediation guidance and test evidence.
3. Develop and maintain accessibility test cases, checklists, and automation scripts.
4. Perform assistive-technology-based testing (screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnifiers).
5. Participate in design reviews and provide accessibility training and best-practice recommendations.
6. Validate fixes and perform regression testing for accessibility compliance.

Required Experience & Skills

1. 510 years in accessibility testing for web and mobile applications.
2. Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, ARIA, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics.
3. Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools (Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse) and assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
4. Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
5. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site Hyderabad team.
