Academic Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

• Understand students academic background, interests, and goals to recommend suitable UG/PG programs.
• Clearly explain course structures, admission criteria, fees, career opportunities, and learning outcomes.
• Engage with inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and live chat to ensure a timely and professional response.
• Assist students through the admission process from form filling and document submission to final enrollment.
• Maintain regular contact with potential students, addressing queries and motivating them to complete the admission process.
• Accurately log all conversations, follow-ups, and lead status in CRM tools to track student progress and enable data-driven decisions.
• Work towards individual and team conversion goals while maintaining a student-first approach.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelors degree in any discipline (education, communication, or psychology preferred)
• 0-2 years of experience in counseling, career guidance, academic support, or telesales/customer support
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Ability to understand student needs and build trust through meaningful conversations
• Familiarity with CRM tools or lead management software is a plus
