Job Summary:

Academic Counsellor

Role & responsibilities

Counsel students and parents regarding ALLENs academic programs, course structures, and admission processes.
Identify students academic strengths, goals, and areas of improvement to suggest the most appropriate course.
Handle walk-in and telephonic enquiries, provide detailed information, and convert leads into admissions.
Maintain records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM/database.
Coordinate with tele callers, faculty, and management to ensure smooth admission operations.
Participate in seminars, orientation programs, and counselling sessions as required.
Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
Maintain a positive, professional, and student-first approach in all interactions.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors or Masters degree (Education, Psychology, or any relevant field preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English, Hindi, and local language proficiency preferred).
Strong listening, problem-solving, and persuasion skills.
Ability to understand academic requirements and guide students effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Prior experience in academic counselling, career guidance, or the education sector
