Job Title: Academic Career Counselor Reports to: Head of Admissions/ Academic Programs About Us: Arobit Academy is a leading educational institution committed to providing high-quality academic programs that foster student growth and success. We seek an experienced Academic Career Counselor to join our team, responsible for promoting our courses and academic programs, guiding prospective students and parents, and managing the admission process. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Sales Communication (20%): 1. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing information about our academic programs and courses. 2. Engage with prospective students, understanding their interests, career goals, and educational aspirations. 3. Provide program recommendations and guidance on career pathways. Counseling and Parental Conversation (30%): 1. Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with prospective students and parents to discuss program options. 2. Address concerns, provide support, and build trust with stakeholders. 3. Offer guidance on program selection, career prospects, and industry trends. Admission Process Management (20%): 1. Manage the application process, ensuring timely and efficient processing. 2. Review applications, verify documentation, and coordinate with internal teams. 3. Communicate admission decisions and provide enrollment guidance. Support During Course (30%): 1. Provide ongoing support to enrolled students, addressing academic concerns and offering guidance. 2. Monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting resources. 3. Foster relationships with faculty, staff, and alumni to ensure student success. Marketing and Communication (Additional Responsibilities): 1. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, social media content, and campaigns. 2. Participate in education fairs, seminars, and events to promote our programs. 3. Develop and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and industry partners. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Marketing, or related field. 2. 2+ years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or marketing. 3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills. 4. Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including students, parents, and faculty. 5. Strong organizational and time management skills. 6. Familiarity with CRM software and admission management systems. Desirable Qualifications: 1. Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field. 2. Experience in career counseling or academic advising. 3. Knowledge of labor market trends and industry requirements. 4.
