Details Job Description Overview SAP ABAP Sr. Developer / Technical Consultant Senior: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer with extensive experience in developing and managing interfaces to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining interfaces between SAP systems and other applications. Key Responsibilities ABAP Development: Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP programming language to meet business requirements. Interface Design and Implementation: Develop and manage interfaces using various technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services to ensure seamless data integration between SAP and non-SAP systems. Technical Specifications: Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. System Integration: Ensure successful integration of SAP systems with third-party applications, maintaining data integrity and consistency across platforms. Code Optimization: Review and optimize existing ABAP code to improve performance and efficiency. Troubleshooting and Support: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to ABAP programs and interfaces, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including technical designs, test plans, and user guides. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance system functionality. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Job Requirements Qualifications Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on interface development. Strong expertise in designing and implementing interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services. Proven experience with SAP modules and their integration points. Deep understanding of SAP system architecture and data models. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. SAP certification in ABAP or related areas is a plus. Preferred Skills Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5 development. Knowledge of middleware technologies such as SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI. Understanding of Agile development methodologies. Experience with version control tools such as Git. BTP (CAP) experience will be added advantage.
