Job Description

About the Role
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the initiatives to improve customer engagement after supporting interactions across mobile and web for Riders, Drivers, Eaters, and Businesses using Uber.You will be building for a global user base and working with teams across the world using best-of-breed technologies, Gen AI and latest machine learning, data science techniques, and design thinking to accomplish this at a scale that has never been done before in the industry. What You'll Do

Work closely with a substantial global community operations organization to integrate business processes and policies onto the platform
Collaborate with the design team and guide their investments for research, prototyping, experimentation, and overall design thinking
Owning the product and defining the roadmap/vision for that product.
Be incredibly truth-seeking. Collect whatever data is vital to advise product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, user behavior, or other business metrics. Solicit and welcome critical feedback.
Make tradeoff decisions based on technical and business insights and experimentation
Supervise and measure launched products and feed insights back into product development process to drive growth
Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to Uber executives, employees to riders.

Basic Qualifications

Pre-MBA experience of 2-6 years.
Relevant Product management experience of 2+ years.
A computer science undergraduate degree or other engineering degree equivalent.
Strong data-driven prioritization skills. You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to use this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.

Preferred Qualifications

A passion for building businesses, not features
Design sensibility and the desire to provide the highest value to our customers. A deep understanding of and appreciation for good design and user experiences
"Driver" personality. You are biased toward action, an excellent collaborator, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
Strong written and oral communications and collaboration skills. Given Uber's global presence, this will be a very cross-functional role, with partner teams potentially spanning multiple offices across multiple time-zones
A true passion for our mission, our products, and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature
A never-ending desire to grow and learn
