Zuora Technical / Solution Architect

Experience: 10 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with multiple teams: Business stakeholders, IT and marketing teams, design agencies, development teams, testers etc.
• Oppty Management, Account Management, CPQ Domain Knowledge (CPQ Lifecycle, Products, pricing, Approvals, Renewals, Dealdesk) Mandatory to have.
• Possesses a deep understanding of Zuora's platform, APIs, and best practices, with hands on experience in Billing, Revenue and Payments.
• Works directly with customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements, gathering feedback, and providing guidance. 
• Designs and documents functional and technical solutions, including process flows, customizations, and integrations. 
• Assists with the implementation of Zuora solutions, including testing, UAT, and production deployments. 
• Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves technical issues to ensure the successful and efficient operation of Zuora systems. 
• Provides training and knowledge transfer to customers to ensure successful adoption of Zuora solutions. 
• Collaborates with internal teams (Product, Support, Engineering) to address customer needs and resolve technical issues. 
• Creates and maintains documentation, including functional and technical specifications, API integrations, workflows, and solution designs. 
• Provides guidance and updated best practices to customers using quarterly roadmaps and new features. 
• Establishes and maintains system configurations, architectures, and runbooks for each customer. 
• Gathers, analyses, and documents requirements, including BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and user stories. 
• Supports system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and issue resolution before deployment. 
• Supports technical integrations with CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Workday) systems. 

Zuora Sr Developer /Developer

Experience: 4 to 6 Years

• Should have hands on experience in Zuora Billing / Revenue and payments development.
• Strong knowledge of Zuora APIs, workflows, and custom objects.
• Experience with Zuora Billing modules (e.g., Customers, Product Catalog, Subscriptions, Payments, Taxes).
• Proven experience integrating Zuora with external systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, and payment gateways.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, for API development.
• Familiarity with SQL and data migration in Zuora.
• Knowledge of subscription lifecycle management and revenue recognition principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Industry certifications in Zuora are often a plus
• Configure and manage Zuora products, billing, and finance settings, including the Zuora API, workflows, and custom objects.
• Build and maintain workflows to automate business processes for improved efficiency.
• Should be able to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to billing, subscriptions, and payments.
• Perform data migration and ensure data integrity within the Zuora platform.
• Ensure all implementations adhere to Zuora best practices, security guidelines, and compliance requirements.
