Position Overview

Zuora Administrator / Zuora Techno-Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Zuora Administration & Customer Account Handling

  • Manage customer account setup, updates, subscription lifecycle, and billing configuration within Zuora.
  • Maintain accurate customer data, billing accounts, payment methods, and subscription information.
  • Troubleshoot customer account issues, billing discrepancies, and subscription changes.
  • Maintain user roles, permissions, workflow rules, notifications, and system configurations.

Zuora Billing

  • Configure and maintain product catalog, rate plans, charges, and billing rules.
  • Run billing, invoicing, and payment runs; ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor invoice generation, credit memos, refunds, and adjustments.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end billing activities.

Zuora Payments

  • Manage payment gateways, payment methods, electronic payments, and collections workflows.
  • Troubleshoot payment failures, reconciliation issues, and gateway errors.
  • Set up dunning processes and monitor payment declines / recoveries.

Zuora CPQ

  • Configure CPQ settings including product catalog, pricing, quote templates, and subscription rules.
  • Support Sales teams with quoting, amendments, renewals, and order submissions.
  • Ensure alignment between CPQ and Billing for accurate downstream processing.

Zuora Revenue (Z-Revenue)

  • Support revenue processes including revenue recognition rules, policies, and reporting.
  • Work with Finance teams to ensure compliance with ASC 606 standards.
  • Assist with data validation during revenue uploads and month-end close.

Techno-Functional Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Zuora configurations and workflows.
  • Work on integrations between Zuora and CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Netsuite).
  • Support UAT, regression testing, enhancements, and system upgrades.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting, and analytics for billing and revenue operations.

Issue Resolution & Cross-Functional Support

  • Serve as the point-of-contact for billing, payments, subscription, and revenue-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to streamline processes.
  • Identify system improvements and implement best practices.
