Java Developer SME Job Description
Subject Matter Expert Role for RecruitmentPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Java Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java development and be adept at designing, implementing, and optimizing complex software solutions. As an SME, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices are consistently applied throughout the software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities

Java 11+ development, - 8+ years of Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration and Spring REST API development
4+ years of development within an event-driven asynchronous architecture including message broker integration such as Kafka with ability to explain application of relevant design patterns
2 years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions in GCP Cloud. Azure experience
Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
Demonstrate deep knowledge of Apache Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Kafka Producer and Consumer APIs, Java Concurrency, and Kafka Cluster Management to architect robust streaming solutions.
Design and implement distributed event-streaming platforms ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance across enterprise systems.
Build and maintain real-time data pipelines and streaming applications that meet business and technical requirements.
Collaborate closely with architecture and engineering teams to integrate Kafka-based solutions into enterprise-wide data ecosystems.
Knowledge of application development using Spring and Hibernate.
Knowledge of Design Patterns, REST, SOAP, Junit, and Develop Self-contained Restful services.
