Zonal Vigilance Head

Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Management & Compliance:

• Develop and enforce policies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with gold loan operations.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements, including KYC norms and anti-money laundering (AML) standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of branch operations to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.

2. Fraud Prevention & Investigation:

• Lead investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, including misappropriation of gold, document forgery, and loan mismanagement.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and legal teams to address and resolve incidents of fraud.
• Implement preventive measures based on investigation outcomes to safeguard against future occurrences.

3. Training & Awareness:

• Design and deliver training programs for branch staff on vigilance policies, ethical practices, and fraud detection techniques.
• Promote a culture of vigilance through regular workshops and awareness campaigns.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive records of vigilance activities, investigations, and outcomes.
• Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management on vigilance metrics and risk assessments.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, compliance, and legal to ensure a unified approach to risk management.
• Engage with external agencies, including auditors and regulatory bodies, during inspections and compliance reviews.
