Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Managerial

• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with divisional objectives for the zone.
• Establish and monitor operating frameworks to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and groom team members for success and future leadership roles.
• Stay updated on industry trends and proactively address potential challenges.

Market Assessment & Business Development

• Analyze market trends, interest rates, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• Drive proactive business development with new and existing clients.
• Conduct regular meetings with key customers and promoters to ensure business continuity and growth.
• Expand share of wallet through cross-sell initiatives.

Revenue Generation

• Achieve zonal targets for earnings, assets, and book size as per agreed budgets.
• Manage P&L at zonal level in line with overall business objectives.
• Target specific opportunities and ensure seamless coordination between customers and internal teams.

Relationship Management

• Acquire new clients, dealers, and DSAs by understanding financial needs and offering suitable solutions.
• Strengthen relationships to drive cross-sell across branches and channels.

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal processes.
• Conduct periodic audits to maintain quality standards in documentation and client communication.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Risk teams for compliance alignment.

People Management

• Define and monitor team performance goals.
• Build a talent pipeline and mentor high-potential employees.
• Implement performance management and provide coaching and development opportunities.
• Take ownership of personal learning and stay abreast of industry developments.

Risk & Internal Control

• Implement risk-related policies and processes (operational, regulatory, financial, reputational).
• Review internal control systems and take corrective actions based on audit findings.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree.
• 1218 years of experience in banking/financial services with exposure to retail asset products and zonal/regional leadership.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines and risk management practices.
