Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and drive sales performance of the

    De-addiction / Psychiatry portfolio

    across the assigned zone.
  • Develop and execute

    zonal sales strategies

    in line with business objectives and annual operating plans.
  • Build strong relationships with

    Psychiatrists, De-addiction specialists, Rehabilitation centers, Hospitals, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

    .
  • Achieve

    primary and secondary sales targets

    , market share growth, and prescription generation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine promotional strategies.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate

    Area Sales Managers (ASMs) & Regional Managers.

  • Ensure effective

    field force productivity

    , coverage planning, and call effectiveness.
  • Drive execution of

    brand strategies, CMEs, RTMs, conferences, and promotional campaigns

    .
  • Review sales performance through regular

    sales analytics, field visits, and review meetings

    .
  • Ensure strict adherence to

    company policies, compliance guidelines, and ethical promotional practices

    .
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Medical Affairs teams for seamless business operations.
  • Prepare and present

    zonal MIS, forecasts, and performance reports

    to management.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:

    • 10-15 years of total pharmaceutical sales experience.
    • Minimum

      4-6 years as Zonal / Regional Sales Manager.

    • Mandatory experience in Psychiatry / De-addiction segment.

  • Education:

    • Graduate in Science / Pharmacy.
    • MBA (Marketing) preferred.
  • Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of

      psychiatry and de-addiction therapy areas.

    • Strategic thinking and execution excellence.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
    • Data-driven approach with strong analytical abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office; CRM/SAP knowledge preferred.
