Zonal Head - Housing Loan

Job Description

To lead and manage the Housing Loan business across multiple branches within the assigned zone, ensuring achievement of business targets, maintaining asset quality, and driving operational excellence through strategic leadership and team management. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales: Drive the disbursement of housing loans in the zone as per set targets. Identify new markets, segments, and channel partners for business growth. Build relationships with builders, real estate agents, and developers to generate business. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Area/Branch Managers and Sales Executives. Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and team motivation activities Credit & Risk: Ensure credit underwriting quality by monitoring profile quality and delinquency. Work with the credit and risk team to minimize NPAs and maintain portfolio health. Operations & Compliance: Monitor end-to-end loan processing activities and TAT adherence. Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal audit norms. Customer Relationship: Address escalated customer issues and ensure high service standards. Drive customer-centric practices across branches. Reporting & MIS: Provide timely and accurate reports on business performance and forecasts. Analyze business data and provide insights for strategic decisions. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and people management skills In-depth knowledge of housing loan products and policies Excellent networking and relationship-building skills Sound knowledge of credit, collections, and legal processes Strategic thinking with a result-oriented approach Strong analytical and MIS skills Qualifications & Experience: Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration / Finance Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Housing Finance / Home Loans , with at least 3-5 years in a zonal/regional leadership role Experience in affordable housing loans or LAP (Loan Against Property) is a plus
