Zonal Finance Manager

Dear Candidates We are seeking an experienced and skilled finance professional to join our team as a Zonal Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will possess:

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1.

  • Manage and supervise accountants across multiple branches, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

2.

  • Oversee daily collection and deposit processes, ensuring that all funds are accurately reconciled.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies in cash handling and ensure proper documentation is maintained across all branches.

3.

  • Manage the entire vendor payment process, ensuring that all payments are made accurately and on time.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices and payment requests.

4.

  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Payments departments to align financial activities with overall business objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and support to other departments, aiding in decision-making and improving operational efficiency.

5.

  • Provide guidance, training, and support to branch accountants, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.

6.

  • Prepare and review financial reports related to branch accounting and vendor payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, cash handling, and vendor payment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Work Environment:

  • This role may require occasional travel to branch locations.
  • The work environment is fast-paced, requiring proactive problem-solving and adaptability.
