Assistant Manager Project Finance

Role Summary:

Ability to work in a fast-growing Company and align with Companys initiatives and to have strong understanding of Project and Corporate Finance of Renewable Projects in India.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Good understanding of Power and Renewables sector of India.

2. Project Financing (ECBs, RTL, Multilateral, Bonds etc.) and fund-raising (bridge loan, short term loan etc.) of Solar PV / Wind assets in India.

3. Ability to lead project and corporate finance transactions
4. Working on most suitable source of financing at the most optimum cost of capital and carry out benchmarks / comparisons of financing offers
5. Maintain and build sustainable relationships with financial institutions including ECB lenders, Banks, NBFCs, Credit rating agencies etc.

6. Preparation of information memorandum, financial modelling and deal structuring

7. Preparation of financial models from scratch and understanding/working experience of advance excel (including but not limited to Macros, Visual Basic for Applications etc)
8. Submitting proposal to potential lenders and manage the project appraisal by providing data and responses to Lender queries during Project appraisal
9. Managing the due-diligence exercises conducted by Lenders
10. Analyzing & negotiating the financing documentation
11. Execution of loan and security documents
12. Compliance of conditions precedent and conditions subsequent of loan agreements and security creation
13. Support in periodic compliance information and financial covenants during financing
14. Support the other functions of the Company as and when required
15. Support in arranging working capital limits, fund based as well as non-fund based (for issuance of BG, LC etc) as per the requirements of the Projects. Issuance of Bank Guarantees, Letter of Credits, SBLC, LOC etc as per the requirement of the Project.
16. Support in Project Risk management

Qualifications and Experience:

• having relevant experience in the Renewable Energy sector.
