Job Description

Take lead in new initiatives to improve the overall products and processes. Support in implementing strategy agreed for respective Segment.
Providing strategic and structural inputs in formulating credit policies and process improvements
Meeting key clients, Industry Association, Industry peers and dissemination of knowledge to the team and business counterpart
Managing loan portfolio with respect to credit rating/quality, industry concentration,
Provides oversight of designated portfolio to ensure that satisfactory loan quality is maintained. Identifies potential problem credits and works with relationship managers to review and decide strategy to reduce / exit accounts identified under de-risk category.
Tracking delinquencies, discussions with BU stakeholders for resolution
Timely review/renewal of proposals put up by Business Units. Credit Team and Business review on Volume, TAT and Productivity.
Monitoring external ratings/changes in external environment and analyzing its impact on the portfolio
Involvement in Management level meetings/discussion and presentation of case in Credit Committee
Collaboration with other stakeholders for solution finding.
Guidance to be provided to team, handling resources and team management (including mentoring).
Identifying training needs and providing appropriate training
Adherence to Bank internal policy, deviations to be reviewed adequately.

Adherence to credit policy and regulatory guidelines.
