Job Title: XR developer trainee

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a XR trainee who will work on XR projects. The trainee will design, develop and test immersive experiences for applications in design, training, simulations, and interactive media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. XR Content Development

- Assist in creating 3D models, textures, and environments for AR/VR applications.

- Support in designing immersive user interfaces (UI/UX) for XR experiences.

- Work with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine to develop XR applications.

2. Programming & Software Development

- Learn and apply C#, Python, or JavaScript for interactive XR experiences.

- Work on integrating 3D assets, animations, and physics into XR applications.

- Assist in building prototypes and proof-of-concept XR solutions.

3. Hardware & Device Integration

- Test and optimize XR applications for VR headsets (Oculus, HTC Vive), AR devices (HoloLens, Magic Leap), and mobile AR/VR platforms.

- Assist in configuring motion tracking, gesture recognition, and haptic feedback systems.

4. Testing & Troubleshooting

- Conduct bug testing and performance optimization for XR applications.

- Work closely with designers and developers to improve usability and interactivity.

- Assist in ensuring XR experiences run smoothly across multiple devices.

5. Research & Innovation

- Stay updated with emerging trends in AR/VR technology, AI-driven XR, and metaverse applications.

- Explore new tools, frameworks, and software development kits (SDKs) in the XR space.

- Collaborate with the design team to implement cutting-edge immersive experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Multimedia design, or a related field.

- Familiarity with C#, Python, or JavaScript (experience is a plus but not required).

- Proficient in engines like Unity or Unreal engine.

- Knowledge of 3D modeling software like Blender, Maya, 3Ds Max, Cinema 4D.

- Understanding of textures, lighting, and rendering techniques.

- Familiarity with AR/VR/MR technologies and willingness to learn XR frameworks.

- Exposure to AR/VR SDKs (ARKit, AR Core, Vuforia, MRTK, OpenXR) is an advantage.

- Understanding of XR devices like Oculus, HTC Vive, HoloLens, etc.

- Knowledge of motion tracking, spatial computing, and haptic feedback is a plus.

- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
