Job Title : Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Experience : 3 to 5 Years Location : Type : Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer with 35 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and/or automated) Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Maintain documentation for testing procedures and results Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning Required Skills 35 years of QA experience in software testing Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases Working knowledge of bug tracking tools like JIRA or TestRail Familiarity with SQL and scripting (for data validation) Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, REST Assured) is a plus Good understanding of SDLC and Agile development process Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (ref:hirist.tech) Show more Show less
