Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Factory Manager to oversee daily operations of our fabrication workshop. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling material records, conducting basic inspections, and managing production activities. Basic computer knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Email) is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication and workshop operations.
• Maintain accurate inward and outward material records.
• Coordinate with stores and procurement for material flow.
• Perform basic inspections of fabricated components.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Allocate and monitor work for technicians, welders, fitters, and helpers.
• Maintain production reports, job cards, and documentation.
• Prepare daily/weekly updates using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ensure proper use and upkeep of tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Support a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Mechanical or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in a fabrication workshop or manufacturing unit.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, welding, fitting, grinding).
• Ability to handle basic measuring instruments (tape, vernier, etc.).
• Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
