Description

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to oversee our workshop operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workshop management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage workshop operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate and assign tasks to workshop staff and monitor their performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
Manage inventory of materials and tools, placing orders as necessary.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and new hires.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve workflow.

Skills and Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in workshop management or a related field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in using workshop tools and machinery.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a workshop environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
