Job Description

Role Overview

Workday Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Partner with clients to understand HR business processes and translate them into Workday solutions.
Lead and participate in
end-to-end Workday implementations
– requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Configure and support Workday Core HCM and additional functional modules (Compensation, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking, etc.).
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reporting, and security design.
Provide guidance on HR process best practices and Workday system capabilities.
Deliver client workshops, prepare documentation, and support change management activities.

Required Skills & Experience

3–6 years of Workday experience
with at least
2 full-cycle Workday implementations
.
Workday Certification(s)
– Core HCM and Integration (mandatory). Additional module certifications (Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, etc.) are preferred.
Strong hands-on expertise in two or more Workday functional modules:

Core & Advanced Compensation
Talent & Performance Management
Recruiting
Absence & Time Tracking
Payroll & Benefits
Learning
Reporting & Prism Analytics

Good knowledge of
Workday Security configuration
.
Strong understanding of
end-to-end HR processes
(hire-to-retire, compensation cycles, performance management).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and
client-facing communication skills
.
Experience in consulting engagements and working with global clients is a plus.

Nice-to-Have

Exposure to multiple industries.
Workday Studio / Core Connector / EIB integration experience.
Hands-on experience in reporting and Prism Analytics.
