Strong background in API development, data architecture, and Workday reporting tools (BIRT, Calculated Fields, Report Writer). Experience with Workday security frameworks, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), and data governance. Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, and compliant Workday solutions aligned with business objectives. Experience integrating Workday with payroll and time & attendance systems, preferably in the Australian context with knowledge of local payroll compliance (e.g., Single Touch Payroll, superannuation). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work collaboratively across HR, Payroll, IT, and vendor teams. Experience with tools for integration version control and automated testing (Swagger, GitLab, Dynatrace, Selenium) is preferred. Strategic thinker with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Collaborative workshop facilitator and consensus builder. Detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity and compliance. Proactive in knowledge transfer and maintaining technical documentation, including integration specifications, data mapping, and process flows. This role requires expertise in Workday's integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and Web Services. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Web Services. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across integrated systems. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner. Monitor integration performance and implement improvements as needed. Document integration processes and maintain technical specifications. Stay updated with Workday updates and new features to leverage them in integration solutions. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Workday Integrations Specialist or similar role. Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and web services. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Workday certification in Integrations is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with other HRIS systems and integration platforms. Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations. Project management experience.
