Workday Security Lead

As a Workday Security Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to configure and maintain robust role-based, user-based, domain access controls within the Workday system. You will conduct thorough smoke testing of access requests to identify and mitigate toxic combinations. Regular security audits and assessments will be performed by you to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and audit requirements. In case of security incidents, you will collaborate with Information Security and other stakeholders for investigation. Additionally, creating and maintaining Workday reports related to security and audits to meet business needs will be part of your role. You will also partner with the team to identify the most effective reporting options based on specific requirements, develop and maintain calculated fields within Workday reports, and troubleshoot reporting issues, bugs, and other related challenges. Developing and maintaining various templates for reporting requests, reviewing new Workday feature releases for compliance and security, and working closely with integration leads and other Workday support teams for seamless system operations will also fall under your responsibilities. Furthermore, creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and other training materials as required, and advising the business on best practices for Workday security and data integrity are crucial aspects of this role. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in managing Workday security across Workday modules, a strong understanding of role-based, user-based access, and security configuration, an analytical mindset for conducting audits and investigations, and the ability to assess and implement best practices in a regulatory environment. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Education: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: - 5-8 years of hands-on experience in security configuration & reporting, preferably with Workday. Soft Skills: - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
