Avaap, a leading Workday implementation partner, seeking a Workday Financials Consultant to join our Avaap Center of Excellence (ACE) team. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background and experience supporting clients in US government and higher education. This role is critical to helping organizations streamline financial operations, ensure compliance, and maximize value from their Workday investment.
Responsibilities Include
- Support the implementation of Workday Financials solutions including (Record to Report) modules (General Ledger, Financial Accounting, Allocations, Close and Budgets) as well as Banking & Settlements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial requirements and business objectives. Conduct system configurations based on client requirements as well as support integration design & development to streamline financial processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Financials applications during client performed testing cycles.
- Provide training and support to client end-users, ensuring effective adoption of Workday Financials.
- Stay current with Workday updates and best practices, providing thought leadership and guidance to clients.
Qualifications Include
- Workday Financials Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Workday Financials solutions.
- US Government and/or Higher Ed industry experience including Fund Accounting, Worktag Balancing, Commitment Accounting and Multibook Accounting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting is a plus.
- Active Workday Financials Certification providing implementer access, REQUIRED.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences, both internal and external
Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
- Base Salary and variable compensation (paid quarterly) is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
- During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
