Workday Extend Delivery Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Delivery Recovery Leader with deep expertise in Workday Extend and large-scale enterprise transformations. This role requires a proven track record of turning around complex, multi-technology implementations by assessing troubled projects, defining recovery strategies, and executing turnaround plans with minimal impact on scope, cost, or schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery recovery efforts end-to-end: issue identification, impact assessment, recovery planning, and execution.
• Establish delivery governance frameworks aligned with TDLC, Agile, or SAFe methodologies.
• Re-baseline delivery plans, manage risks/issues, and realign client commitments.
• Drive improvements in Delivery Experience (DEX) and reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) .
• Build and maintain executive stakeholder trust via structured governance and transparent communication.
• Lead Steering Committees and executive review forums.
• Track and analyze financial, schedule, and quality metrics (SPI, burn rate, forecast accuracy, margin).
• Drive commercial resets and Estimate at Completion (EAC) recovery initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with InfoSec, audits, and quality gates.
• Provide strategic leadership to resolve complex program-level challenges.
• Oversee contract deliverables, financial constructs, and dependencies.
• Mentor teams, develop recovery playbooks, and coach delivery managers.

Must Have Qualifications

• 1620 years of experience in large-scale program delivery with deep focus on Workday Extend .
• Proven track record in delivery recovery leadership across global clients.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/SAFe delivery models and enterprise transformation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in at least one major platform (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, o9, Supply Chain).
• Industry experience in at least one: Technology, Health, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Products, Communications, Media, Resources, or Utilities.
• Strong commercial acumen and cost optimization expertise.
• Bachelors degree (minimum 15 years full-time education).

Nice to Have

• Workday Core HCM experience.
• PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
• Relevant Workday/ERP platform certifications.
• Exposure to GenAI technologies .
