Galactix Solutions Pvt Ltd is a modern digital agency delivering high-performing websites and digital solutions. We are hiring an experienced WordPress Developer with solid SEO knowledge to build scalable, optimized, and visually engaging WordPress websites.

You will develop, customize, and optimize WordPress websites while ensuring top-tier SEO performance. This role requires deep WordPress expertise, strong development skills, and the ability to build high-quality websites that load fast, perform well, and rank high.

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.

• Customize existing themes (Astra, GeneratePress, Kadence, etc.) based on project needs.

• Build pixel-perfect, responsive layouts from Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch designs.

• Implement advanced WordPress functionalities (ACF, CPT UI, taxonomies, custom fields).

• Work with REST APIs and integrate third-party APIs.

• Configure page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, Gutenberg, etc.

• Manage multisite WordPress installations when required.

• Implement website security hardening (WordFence, patches, SSL, firewalls).

• Set up staging environments and manage deployment workflows.

• Debug PHP, JavaScript, and CSS issues efficiently across different environments.

• Handle WordPress migrations (manual & automated) including database and file transfers.

• Optimize website speed using caching, CDN, script optimization, and lazy loading.

• Conduct Core Web Vitals optimization for better user experience.

• Ensure mobile-first performance and responsive behavior across devices.

• Audit and reduce plugin bloat; remove unnecessary plugins and scripts.

• Implement technical SEO, on-page SEO, schema markup, and metadata optimization.

• Conduct full SEO audits and provide actionable improvement plans.

• Optimize URLs, internal linking, site architecture, and crawlability.

• Configure and maintain SEO plugins like Rank Math, Yoast, or All-in-One SEO.

• Track performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.

• Perform regular backups, updates, and website health checks.

• Fix issues related to hosting, database, SSL, redirections, and uptime.

• Create documentation for website features, structures, and processes.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.

• Deep expertise in Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, and theme customization.

• Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, WP_Query, and template hierarchy.

• Strong experience in SEO (technical + on-page) and SEO tool usage.

• Experience with performance optimization tools (GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse).

• Knowledge of hosting platforms, DNS, cPanel, FTP/SFTP, and SSL setup.

• Ability to troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues.

• Strong attention to detail, code quality, and best practices.

• WooCommerce setup, customization, and optimization experience.

• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, or version control workflows.

• Understanding of UI/UX best practices.

• Experience integrating CRM tools, payment gateways, or marketing platforms.

• Ability to develop custom widgets, Gutenberg blocks, or dynamic templates.
