Word Press Developer

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the entire web development process, from design and development to deployment and maintenance. You must be comfortable working with web hosting control panels and direct server access methods like cPanel and SSH/SFTP, and managing databases via phpMyAdmin.

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality for our WordPress websites.
  

• Building, extending, and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
  

• Creating responsive and visually appealing web pages that provide an excellent user experience.
  

• Managing all technical aspects of the WordPress Content Management System (CMS).
  

• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  

• Managing website hosting environments through cPanel and SSH/SFTP, including tasks like file management, running command-line operations, and server maintenance.
  

• Interacting with and managing MySQL databases using tools like phpMyAdmin.
  

• Troubleshooting and resolving website performance issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.
  

• Collaborating with our design and marketing teams to bring web projects to life.
  

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
  

• Strong proficiency and coding expertise in PHP.
  

• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  

• In-depth understanding of the WordPress platform, including custom theme development, plugin creation, and the WordPress REST API.
  

• Hands-on experience with web hosting control panels and direct server access, specifically cPanel and SSH/SFTP.
  

• Experience with cloud-hosted websites (e.g., on platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean).
  

• Proficiency in managing MySQL databases using phpMyAdmin (e.g., importing/exporting data, running queries, and optimizing tables).
  

• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  

• Experience with popular page builders like Elementor.
  

• Basic understanding of web security principles
