Job Description

As a Wintel L3, you will play a crucial role in managing the performance and capacity of Wintel platforms, ensuring the availability and quality of service for business-critical applications. Your strong analytical and troubleshooting skills will be essential in resolving production issues and contributing to technology projects. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: - Manage assigned Wintel staff and monitor the availability, performance, and capacity of Wintel platforms. - Establish partnerships with peers across departments, participate in technical meetings, and ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory guidelines. - Collaborate with the Information Security team to uphold security standards and procedures. - Own all Windows/Cluster/HA platform services, ensuring adherence to SLAs and implementing process improvements. - Manage Windows platform components such as AD, DNS, ADFS, Azure AD, DC Sync, Public DNS, and Certificate Management. - Ensure Lifecycle management according to technology standards and select platforms that align with Architecture and Security requirements. - Drive automation, repeatability, and standardization of processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. - Participate in disaster recovery activities, demand planning, and allocation of budgets and resources for scheduled projects. - Monitor the quality implementation of installations from design through testing to production release. Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Abilities: - 12-14 years of relevant experience and 15-16 years overall experience in the IT industry. - Proficiency in Windows Active Directory, Windows OS installation, troubleshooting, Azure AD, GPO, Windows Cluster, DFS, and ADFS configuration and troubleshooting. - Familiarity with Azure Directory Sync, Azure App proxy connector, Certificate Authority, Server Firmware, BIOS upgrade, and ITIL. - Ability to identify automation tasks, support automation initiatives, and drive Service Improvement initiatives. - Experience in working on Major Incidents, submitting RCA's, SOP, Knowledge Mines, and participating in DR Drills. - Knowledge of HP ESM Tool (ITSM) would be an added advantage. - Educational Qualification: B.E or Graduate. - 90 days of Notice Period and willingness to work in shifts in a 24x7 environment, 6 days a week. - Certification in Microsoft Technologies would be beneficial.
