Position Overview

Welding Trainer to conduct training programs in the domain of Advanced Welding and Robotics.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical sessions on advanced welding techniques and robotic welding systems
• Design and develop curriculum and training modules as per industry standards
• Train students on various welding methods such as MIG, TIG, SMAW, etc., and introduce them to robotic welding arms and systems
• Ensure safety standards are maintained during all training sessions
• Evaluate trainees' performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain welding equipment and training infrastructure
• Coordinate with academic institutions and project teams for successful training delivery
• Keep updated with new welding technologies and trends in automation/robotics

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing/Mechatronics or related Engineering streams
• Mandatory Certification: From any of the following recognized organizations:

IIW (International Institute of Welding)

AWS (American Welding Society)

IWE (International Welding Engineer)

NC3 or equivalent International Welding Society certification

• Minimum 2 years of experience in welding training or industrial welding operations
• Hands-on knowledge of advanced welding equipment and robotic systems is preferred
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to mentor and inspire learners
